Ryad Mabrouka is a haven from the flurry of life in the medina, run by husband and wife Pierre-Marie and Caroline. The accommodation is primarily composed of an assortment of suites and a couple of slightly smaller rooms, furnished and decorated with a carefully selected collection of French antiques and locally-crafted items. The decor is one of tasteful restraint mixed with typically exuberant Moroccan patterns.

From the rooftop terrace, there is a delightful panoramic view of the medina and the neighbouring countryside. The dining area also has magnificent views over the city. Indoors and out (and of course, in a Moroccan riad, that is a distinction that is sometimes somewhat blurred) there is a great sense of space, as this hotel seems to take up a little more than its share of the medina.

Restaurant:

Lunches and dinners are available on request for hotel guests, served either in the garden or on the verandah overlooking the city. The typical Moroccan food is highly regarded, and French or Mediterranean cuisine is available if preferred. At Christmas time when the culinary bias swings towards France, Michel has been known to venture into the kitchen himself!

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) at least 20 days before scheduled arrival.
15 to 20 days: 25% of the stay will be charged
7 to 14 days: 50% of the stay wil be charged
48 hours to 6 days: 75% of the stay will be charged
Less than 48 hours or no-show: the full stay will be charged.
