For most visitors to Morocco, the weather will be an important factor in the enjoyment of their holiday, so here we will try to give information that will help you to choose the best location and time of year to suit your preferences.

The hottest daytime temperatures occur inland, whereas the coast is a little cooler and fresher under the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to look at the minimum (night-time) temperatures too. You may not be around when the temperature hits the minimum but a good minimum temperature is a sign of balmy evenings and nice temperatures first thing in the morning too.

Winter Temperatures

In winter, inland Marrakech distinguishes itself again with the more extreme temperatures; this time with a noticeably lower night-time temperature. By day, there is little difference between areas of Morocco and temperatures in the high teens will feel very pleasant, especially when the strong southern sun is shining.
